Volunteer at Crossroads!
Be a part of saving, changing, and transforming lives in our community
We’re so excited you are wanting to learn more about volunteering with us! We LOVE our volunteers and are so grateful for the support of our community – support that makes what we do possible.
Do you have a burden to minister to someone facing an unplanned pregnancy? Our patient advocates share pregnancy options and provide loving support to our patients looking for options and answers. We offer a six-week Patient Advocate training class. Contact us to learn more.
Requirements for volunteers working with clients:
Must complete applications and will be interviewed by a staff member.
Must be willing to attend in-house training sessions, additional training as required, and commit to at least 4 hours of service, twice a month, totaling 8 hours/month.
Must have a current (within 12 months) Child Abuse Clearance and Criminal History Check.
Must have a TB test.
Assist by answering phones, scheduling appointments, entering confidential client information in our database, greeting clients when they arrive, and assisting clients in the Baby Boutique.
Sonographers (RDMS) perform limited OB ultrasounds for our pregnant patients. Nurse Volunteers (RN) conduct pregnancy testing for women and STD/STI testing for women and men.
Have a heart for new dads? Join our team of male client advocates. Men's mentors conduct consultation sessions with clients and one-on-one support for men in our fatherhood classes and parenting programs.
